Olga Mamedova was born in Baku.
She has graduated from postgraduate course of the Azerbaijan Institute of petrochemical processes.
She has been dealing with photography for 10 years.
She worked at the Theatre of the Musical Comedy as the photographer and in a number of periodicals.
Presently she is the photographer of the Russian Dramatic Theatre named after S.Vurgun.
She is a member of the Photographers Association of Azerbaijan. She took part in festivals, competitions, seminars and the joint exhibitions held by association of photographers.
In 2000 she won first place and received the prize in the International Photocompetition in Switzerland.
In 2003 she received the diploma and the rank "The Best Newspaper Photographer".
In January, 2004 she had the first personal exhibition - "The Theatre is a Life" in RDT named after S.Vurgun.
She is the author of books "The Millennium 2000" and "We are 80".
Photoes were published in magazines: "Caspian", "Azerbaijan International", "Azerbaijan today", "Irs", "Style", "Passage" and newspapers "Baku Sun", "CBN" etc.
