Date of birth: June 16, 1952.
During 1969 – 1975 he studied at the Azerbaijan State Medical University named after N. Narimanov with the specialization of “Health Treatment”. He is Candidate of Medical Sciences, author of over 70 scientific publications and Chief Scientific Specialist for internal diseases.
He has participated in a number of congresses and scientific-practical conferences devoted to various areas of the medical science and held both in Azerbaijan and abroad, including Baltic countries, Turkey (Mersin, Antalya, Kuşadası, Kemer), Kazakhstan (Almati), Uzbekistan ( Tashkent) and other countries. Furthermore, Mr. Isayev was the participant of a number of local and overseas seminars devoted to corporate governance in the banks and bank management.
He joined Baku City 5 th Clinic Hospital in 1975 and is currently the head of gastroenterostomy section of the hospital.
In 1997 he acquired part of the share capital of “Bank of Baku”. Since that time he has been the chairman of the general meeting of shareholders and of the Supervisory Council of the Bank.

From 1996 to 2000, he studied in ASEU and received his bachelor’s degree on International Economic Relations.
He continued his education and got MBA degree on International Relations from HDC in 2002.
He has studied his MBA degree in “Warwick Business School” (England).since 2006 .
He has participated in following seminars and trainings: Financial Management – Internal Training-Program of McKinsey (Moscow), Management and Financial Projection of Tran European Centre Ltd. (London and Edinburg), Preparing of financial reports – Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (Great Britain), Financial Information for Management, Staff Management, Informational Systems, Corporate and Business Law, Taxation – Tax System of Great Britain, Financial Management and control, Financial accounting, Audit and internal control etc.
He has started his professional activities in 1998 as an accountant. From 1999 to 2002 he continued his activities in Ilk Bank as a specialist of Operational Division of Credit Department. Till the end of the 2002 worked as a project evaluation specialist in “Halliburton International”. After that, he worked as a financial director in EUPEC Pipe Coating Azerbaijan.
From 2003 to 2006 he continued his activities in Azpetrol as a director of Tax Planning, director of Budget Control Department, Financial Department and Deputy Chairman Management Board.
After working at “McKinsey & Company”in Russia, he returned to Baku and continued professional activity at “Bank of Baku” as a Consultant of Chairman of the Executive Board.
Now he is the Chairman of the Executive Board.
Khalid Ahadov
The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Head of the Retail Banking Business Line
Date of birth: February 4, 1980.
Mr. Ahadov received his bachelor’s degree following his studies at the faculty of “Finances and Credits” in 2000 from Azerbaijan State Economic University and further got his graduate degree from the same faculty.
He is the author of a number of articles published in local and foreign scientific magazines. At various times, he participated in a number of scientific-practical training sessions and seminars both in Azerbaijan and overseas.
He started his professional activities at the Bank of Baku in March of 1999. He started as a SWIFT Specialist and reached his current position of the deputy chairman of the Executive Board. He is the author of a number of successful projects.
Currently Mr. Ahadov is responsible for coordination of activities of Retail Banking Business Line, including Product Development, Branch Network Management, Sales Channels Management and Plastic Card Business.
Current position of Mr. Ahadov is the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board for Retail Banking Business line.
Afgan Isaev
Deputy Chairman of The Executive Board, Head of the Risk and Legal spheres
Date of birth: November 3, 1974.
After he received bachelor (BS/BA) degree on “Finance and Economic” at Rutgers University, he continued his education and got MBA degree on MIS in 1998 at the same university.
During study was awarded various prestigious premiums for scientifically-practical and social activity. Some of them: «Student Achievement Award in Economics» of Wall Street Journal, «Who’s Who Among Universities» for success in science achievements sphere, Honor Diploma of Rutgers University and Graduate School of Management.
Professional activity he started in 1997 in Rutgers University as a consultant of strategic management on technical support program.
Banking activity started at American Express – one of the biggest financial companies.
Until the end of 2004, he took up the post of financial analytic on central and west-European regions, risk manager, and also manager of group of portfolio analysis.
On February 2004 joined to the “Bank of Baku”.
At present he is the Deputy Chairman, the Head of the Risk and Law spheres.
Farid Mammadov
The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Head of the Corporate Banking Business Line
Date of birth: April 29, 1978.
Mr. Mammadov received his graduate degree following his studies at the faculty of “Political Sciences” from State Administration Academy under the Aegis of the President in 2001. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the same Academy towards the degree in history of international relations.
He is the author of a number of articles and participated in a number of scientific-practical training sessions and seminars.
He started his professional activities in 2001 with the United Kredit Bank in the Department for International Settlements and Securities. In May 2001, Mr. Mammadov moved to Bank of Baku to the position of specialist in the division of Placement and Attraction of Funds. Since February 2002, while continuing his work in the Credit Department of the Bank, he has managed to go from the position of specialist of the commercial credits sections to the position of Director of the Department. During his work in the area related to credits, he applied large projects dedicated to Micro-Credits and SME loans, which projects had significant impact in the development of the Bank.
Current position of Mr. Mammadov is the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board for Corporate Banking Business Line.
Farid Alizada
The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Head of the Financial Management sphere
Date of birth: October 26, 1974.
Mr. Alizade pursued his graduate studies in the USA He first got his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance concentration) from the Rutgers University in 1993-1996, and thereafter his MBA degree in Finance from the Rice University during 1997-1999. Furthermore, he is the holder of a number of professional certificates.
He started his professional activities in 1996 in the USA with UNOCAL Corporation. Following his 3 years with UNOCAL, he first joined Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., where he was working as the consultant for risk management and control for transactions with derivatives (1999-2001), and thereafter Reunion Power LLC as the consultant for development perspectives. After working during 2001-2002 at Rolls Royce Power Ventures as the Chief Specialist for Finance, in 2003 he returned to Azerbaijan and continued his career as a Financial Accountant with Mcdermott Caspian Contractors Inc.
In February 2005 he joined “Bank of Baku”.
Current position of Mr. Alizade is the Deputy Chairman of The Executive Board for Financial Management Sphere.
Farid Huseinov
Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Head of the Operational and IT Spheres.
Date of birth: October 10, 1983.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Economic University and received a bachelor’s degree on “Finance and Credit in 2003 and then he continued his education and got MBA degree on Banking at the same university in 2005.
Now he is the post-graduate student of the Azerbaijan State Economic university on "Banking".
He published various clauses in a number of scientific magazines.
At various times, he participated in seminars and conferences both inside and outside of the country.
In 2004 he has received the title of “Branch Manager of the year” and has received National premium of UGUR in a nomination of “Young Talented Managers” in 2006.
He started his professional activities in 2001 at «Bank of Baku» as an expert of Customer Service Department.
After that, he managed one of the branches of Bank and has been appointed to a post of the Head of Branch Management Department.
As a result of creation and embodiment of numerous successful projects – including opening of branches both in Baku and in regions of Azerbaijan – he was appointed to a post of Deputy Chairman of The Executive Board.
Now he is supervising the activities of a Bank in IT and Operational Spheres.
